No. 10, 2nd April: Fern fronds

I love fern fronds. They are made up of many repeating units and yet each one has unique curls and twists and blemishes. These differences create negative shapes that I think are just as beautiful as the fronds themselves. For this photo I tried to focus in on a section that I felt had a good balance between fern and not-fern.
Technical details: Canon 7D MKII + 100mm macro lens; 1/640 sec at f/3.5; ISO 200.
