I took this photo of a pied flycatcher yesterday evening in the last of the sun's rays. I like the dreamy fusions of colour in the background - they remind me of the translucent washes of watercolour paintings.
Technical details: Canon 7D MKII + 100-400mm lens with 1.4x extender at 560mm; 1/640 sec at f/8; ISO 1000.
